Natalie Lete Folk Art Collection Cotton Fabric

The collection “Folk Heart” is inspired by my memories I had from my travel in Mexico and Oaxaca in 2020 before pandemic. I visited the wonderful Folk Art museums and was very impressed by the mix of laces, the bright cut paper garland and flowers, the terracotta animals, the hearts motives everywhere, and the colorful textiles and ribbons. I wanted to create joyful patterns with rich, contrasted, colorful images I still had in my mind.
