I choose this fabric because of it's vibrant colors. It did not dissapoint me at all. It is beautiful - I really love Kaffe Fassett designs. I pre-washed before starting my sewing project it and it faded slightly. The color red is an orange/red. It is very soft and would be lovely for any of your sewing needs. Fast service, it arrived 3 days after ordering it
