We love it when our customers share their projects with us, and this one is very special. Dave sent us this photo of a hook rail that he made from a piece of antique barn wood. 

Rich with history, the beauty of antique barn wood is timeless. Each piece of antique barn wood is unique, with no two exactly the same. The coloring and weathered characteristics depend on how old the barn was and where it was located... on a hill, in a valley, covered in ivy, or left exposed to the sun.

First Dave cut and shaped the wood. Then smoothed the edges and added several coats of clear finish to enhance the beautiful grain of the wood. Completing the rustic look of the hook rail, he attached 5 of our B45006J-VBR pilltop hooks in venetian bronze.
